Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State —27 April 2026

Prince Abiodun Oyetola Olatunde has described the overwhelming turnout witnessed at the official flag-off of the second term campaign of His Excellency, Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, and his Deputy, Chief (Mrs.) Monisade Afuye, as a clear testament to the Governor’s impactful leadership and people-centered governance across Ekiti State.

Speaking through his Media Team, led by Tunde Oyedele, Prince Olatunde noted that the mammoth crowd that gathered at the event reflects the deep trust, acceptance, and satisfaction of the people with the administration’s performance during its first tenure.

According to him, “The massive turnout is not by chance. It is a reflection of visible achievements, inclusive governance, and the Governor’s unwavering commitment to the welfare of Ekiti people. This is a government that has connected with the grassroots, delivered on key promises, and restored confidence in leadership.”

Prince Olatunde therefore reaffirmed his total loyalty and unflinching support for the re-election of Governor Oyebanji and his Deputy, assuring that the good people of Gbonyin, Ekiti East, and Emure will stand solidly behind the administration to ensure continuity beyond 2026.

He emphasized that continuity of the current administration is critical to sustaining the developmental strides already recorded in infrastructure, youth engagement, economic growth, and social welfare.

Furthermore, Prince Olatunde used the opportunity to engage constituents on the importance of aligning representation at all levels of government, stressing that synergy between the Federal and State Governments under the Renewed Hope Agenda will bring greater dividends of democracy to the people.

“As we support the Governor for a second term, it is equally important that our constituency secures strong and effective representation at the National Assembly. This will ensure that Gbonyin, Ekiti East, and Emure fully benefit from federal policies, programs, and opportunities,” he stated.

Prince Olatunde, who is seeking to represent Gbonyin / Ekiti East / Emure Federal Constituency 2 in the House of Representatives, assured the people of his readiness to provide quality representation anchored on effective legislation, oversight, and constituency development.

He reiterated his commitment to:

* Youth empowerment and job creation

* Educational support and scholarships

* Technical and vocational training

* Agricultural development and agropreneurship

* Human capital and community development

“From Imesi to Abuja, our voices will not only be heard — they will count. Together, we will ensure that our constituency takes its rightful place in national development,” he added.

Prince Olatunde concluded by calling on party faithful, youths, women, and all stakeholders to remain united, mobilized, and committed to the collective goal of sustaining progress in Ekiti State and advancing representation at the federal level.
