2019 elections: PDP results to door to door campaign strategy.

Some ward members of the People's Democratic Party engaged in a door to door awareness campaign against the coming general elections on Thursday in Ile-Ife, Osun state.

The Akarabata ward members saw it as a matter of necessity to obediently follow the order from the national executives of the party as instructed through the ward executives to engage in this exercise. The party ward chairman, Mr Iyiola Fayemi let out the information at the ward party meeting held the same day, where he implored members on the need to move out for the exercise so as to instill in the public mind the names of candidates contesting for various political offices at the state and federal levels under the umbrella of the PDP, creating an high intense of consciousness among the people and locality.

According to the chairman, "we have gotten this order from above to do everything possible in our power to get back our mandate in our state and federal level. In lieu of this, we're instructed to embark on a door to door campaign at our various locality and we in Akarabata ward must not lag behind".

In attendance were other ward and local executives and representatives to support and lead the movement across the streets of Akarabata ward and environs.
