OBA wishes muslim faithfuls happy eid-el-Fitr

Eid-el-Fitr: Don't Relent In Your Prayers For Nigeria, Akingboye Urges Muslims Ondo State Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship aspirant, Otunba Bamidele Akingboye enjoins Muslims across the country not to relent in their prayers for Nigeria, especially for her survival, peace and unity. Otunba Akingboye is touched by the ugly situations being experienced by Nigerian citizens and advises government both at the federal, state and local levels to live up to their duties by demonstrating true leadership. He noted that the Holy month of Ramadan should provide ample period for positive attitude from those in position of authority to underline the lessons of sacrifice and brotherly love. Otunba Akingboye says that only God is capable of putting an end to Nigeria's multiple challenges which have deprived many of comfortable lives. Furthermore, Otunba Akingboye maintaines that the last 30 days of fasting and prayer will be meaningful in our lives as a nation if we allow the solemnity of the period last influence our thoughts and actions in relating with one another. He urges Nigerian leaders to absorb the lessons of Ramadan in order to reflect in their conduct, leadership style and decisions. While admonishing Muslims to love and respect one another, Otunba Akingboye calls on Nigerians of different faith to harmonize interest for the sake of the country.
